  • Managed CEC’s social media activities, including increasing Facebook likes by more than 2,000 followers; growing Twitter following by 33%; created posts that resonated with CEC membership to increase engagement.
  • Managed CEC’s e-blast channel, including writing, copyediting, layout and design, scheduling and deployment.
  • Managed CEC’s website content, including artwork and news content; played an instrumental role in the redesign, creation and launch of the CEC website, including managing large segments of the content migration and the launch of a brand new CEC members-only community. 
  • Managed CEC’s blog Reality 101 only cs communityEC' likes by x, including coordinating the blogger application process, managing the blog schedule throughout the year, editing and posting content. 
  • Wrote, copyedited and proofread press materials, blog and promotional copy and other materials with adherence to Associated Press style guidelines. 
  • Coordinated marketing, branding and monitoring of the CECommunity, CEC’s members-only online networking tool; was community manager for several committee-level communities and CEC’s internal staff community.

  • Assisted with on-site daily newspaper for annual meeting; wrote for the conference blog and homepage.
  • Managed the schedule, formatting, review and distribution for biweekly e-newsletter, as well as tracked statistics; formatted other NCTM e-blasts as needed.
